Machine Learning Summer School scheduled for June 13-24, 2011

The Departments of Statistics and Computer Science, with additional support from Purdue's Discovery Park, will host a Machine Learning Summer School (MLSS) from Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 24, 2011. The school is suitable for all levels, including those with no previous knowledge of Machine Learning, as well as those wishing to broaden their expertise in this area. Individuals new to Machine Learning will be able to learn more about the theory and practice of this technology, while those wishing to broaden their expertise in this area will find the advanced courses particularly useful. A number of speakers have already confirmed participation. Scholarships are available for attending the school.
