George McCabe to receive ASA's Don Owen Award

Congratulations to George McCabe, Professor of Statistics and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, for being recognized as the 2012 recipient of the ASA's Don Owen award. The San Antonio, TX chapter of the ASA awards this honor each year to a statistician who has consistently demonstrated excellence in research, statistical consultation, and service to the statistical community. McCabe will receive the award at Lamar University, during the Conference of Texas Statisticians (COTS), the evening of Friday, March 2, 2012.
