Welcome Jin Yu

Jin Yu joined the Department of Statistics in January as a Visiting Scholar. She is working with Professor S. V. N. Vishwanathan to complete requirements toward her doctoral degree from the Australian National University. Her current research is in the area of optimization for machine learning. Yu received her Master in Artificial Intelligence in July of 2004 from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and her Bachelor of Engineering in September 2000 in Electrical Engineering from Civil Aviation University of China.
