Gundlach Appointed Associate Editor of CAUSE and MERLOT

12-02-2009

Congratulations to Ellen Gundlach on being appointed Associate Editor of the Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education (CAUSE) and Associate Editor of the statistics editorial board for the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT) project. "I'm very excited about both of these opportunities and look forward to working with other statistics educators across the country," said Gundlach.

CAUSE is a national organization, arising from a strategic initiative by the American Statistical Association. Their mission is to support and advance undergraduate statistics education, in four target areas: resources, professional development, outreach, and research. For more information, visit the CAUSE website. Members of the CAUSE editorial board also serve on the statistics editorial board for the MERLOT project. MERLOT is a leading edge, user-centered, searchable collection of peer reviewed and selected higher education, online learning materials, catalogued by registered members and a set of faculty development support services. MERLOT's vision is to be a premiere online community where faculty, staff, and students from around the world share their learning materials and pedagogy. For more information about the MERLOT project, please visit the MERLOT website.
