New Feature: Research Profiles

05-09-2007

Research in the Department of Statistics covers a wide range of topics including bioinformatics, computational finance, data visualization, data mining, machine learning, genetics/genomics, astrostatistics, statistical and probability theory, etc. Our new research profiles are designed to give you an idea of the exciting and cutting edge research that's being done in the Department.

We just started compiling research profiles so you can expect to see more in the future. Thanks go to the faculty for giving their time to be interviewed about their research, and to Shannon Knapp, Statistics Ph.D. student, for interviewing the faculty and writing up the profiles.
