The cover story for the current College of Science issue of Insights features the research work of Nilupa Gunaratna, 2007 Statistics Ph.D. graduate. Gunaratna's research is the first systematic review of the efficacy and effectiveness of Quality Protein Maize (QPM) and whether it can have a significant positive impact on public health, particularly in undernourished children in developing countries.
