Virgil Anderson and Gloria Fischer Graduate Fellowship
The Virgil Anderson and Gloria Fischer Graduate Fellowship was endowed by a generous gift from Dr. Gloria J. Fischer, Purdue alumna and retired professor at Washington State University, who received a MS in Statistics. This endowment recognizes the lifelong mentoring of the late Professor Anderson to Dr. Fischer.
This fellowship supports graduate students in Statistics to pursue their degrees and is renewable. The Head of the Department of Statistics or the Heads’ designee will select the recipients and determine the amount of the fellowship based on the available revenue.
