1990 Distinguished Alumnus Gary McDonald

Ph.D. Purdue University - 1969

Dr. Gary McDonald obtained the M.S. in 1966 and the Ph.D. in 1969 from the Department of Statistics at Purdue University under the guidance of Professor Shanti Gupta. After leaving Purdue he was associated with General Motors Research Laboratories. He was appointed Head of the Mathematics Department of General Motors Research and Development Center in 1983, Head of the Operations Research Department in 1992 and Director of the Enterprise Systems Lab in 1998.
