Dennis K. J. Lin to present Hovde lecture

The Purdue University College of Science will host the Frederick L. Hovde Distinguished Lecture Series on April 29, 2026, featuring Dennis K. J. Lin, distinguished professor of statistics.
Lin will present “AI, BI & SI—Artificial, Biological and Statistical Intelligences” at 10 a.m. in DLR 131, followed by a reception at 11 a.m. in DLR 134. The lecture is part of the annual series that brings leading scholars to campus to share insights at the intersection of research and real-world impact.
The event is open to the campus community.
