Xiaojing Sun earns ICSA Jiann Ping Hsu Pharmaceutical & Regulatory Sciences Student Paper Award

Xiaojing SunThe International Chinese Statistical Association (ICSA) announced the winners of its student paper competition at the 2025 Applied Statistics Symposium. Xiaojing Sun, a PhD student in Department of Statistics at Purdue, was honored with the Jiann Ping Hsu Pharmaceutical & Regulatory Sciences Student Paper Award for his paper “Generalized Heterogeneous Functional Model with Applications to Large scale Mobile Health Data”
Dr. Hsu (1947-2004), a longtime member of ICSA, was a leading biopharmaceutical researcher and consultant who mentored and trained more than sixty biostatisticians in industry, government, and academia during her career. This award was established with an endowment by Dr. Karl Peace.
