Purdue Department of Statistics Participates in Lilly Day at Purdue

The Department of Statistics joined students, faculty and industry partners for Lilly Day at Purdue on Aug. 28, an event designed to strengthen connections between Purdue and Eli Lilly and Co.
Throughout the day, Lilly representatives met with students across campus to share insights on career development, innovation and collaboration. Sessions included professional development workshops, a discussion on cultivating well-being in the workplace, and panels featuring former interns and industry leaders.
Faculty and students from the Department of Statistics took part in the “Stronger Together” session, where representatives from Lilly’s statistics division highlighted opportunities in data analysis, clinical development and research collaboration.
The event underscored the strong partnership between Purdue and Lilly and their shared commitment to preparing the next generation of problem-solvers.
