Welcome our New Faculty and Staff

Please join us in welcoming our new faculty and instructors to the department:

• Dr. Andrew Irrgang is a Purdue alumnus and former Assistant Professor at Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette. He joins our department as a Limited-Term Lecturer in Statistics and is teaching STAT 301. Dr. Irrgang’s office is HAAS 116.
• Dr. Christina Munson is a business owner and instructor from Lexington, Kentucky, and joins us as a Limited-Term Lecturer of Statistics. She is also teaching STAT 301. Dr. Munson’s office is HAAS 116.
• Dr. Jing Wang joins us as Assistant Professor, with a joint appointment in Mathematics and Statistics. Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. from Purdue in 2014 and was most recently a J.L. Doob research assistant professor at UIUC. Her office is in MATH 420.
• Dr. Ying Zhu joins us as Assistant Professor of Statistics and Computer Science. She comes to us from Michigan State University where she was a Research Associate in Big Data Analytics. Dr. Zhu’s office is HAAS 120.
