Mikaela Meyer Becomes Purdue's First Truman Scholar

Mikaela Meyer, a junior studying mathematical statistics and political science, made Purdue history this year by becoming the university's first Truman Scholar. Meyer is one of just 62 Truman Scholars selected from across the country. This prestigious prize gives each awardee a $30,000 scholarship toward graduate education and a career in public service.
