Announcing the Regina and Norman F. Carroll Scholarship and Research Awards

We are pleased to announce the Regina and Norman F. Carroll (Col. USAF) Scholarship and Research Awards in honor of the parents of our alum, Professor Raymond J. Carroll. 

The scholarship awards will be used to recruit top graduate students each year.  Three scholarship awards will be given per year to newly admitted graduate students at an amount of $1,000 per award ($3,000 total per year).  The ability to fund students at a higher level will improve the quality of students we are able to add to Purdue Statistics.   

The research awards are created to recognize faculty members whose research represents distinctive contributions to statistical science.  Two research awards will be given each year in the amount of $1,000 per award ($2,000 total per year).
