Cheryl Crabill Receives a Thumbs Up

Congratulations to Cheryl Crabill, webmaster, on being selected as one of this week's Thumbs Up recipients.

Cheryl Crabill, the webmaster for the Department of Statistics, is nominated for the "Thumbs Up" designation for her extra timely and crucial effort above and beyond even her own high standards for the five-year external review of the department that took place in February. She is stepping down March 12 after six years of high accomplishment in the department, and she will be sorely missed. Her new career as a life coach is consistent with the significant and broad role she played in our department, which went far beyond that of a webmaster. -- Mary Ellen Bock
