Welcome New Faculty and Students

The Department of Statistics would like to welcome Shannon Knapp as a Visiting Assistant Professor, as well as four new M.S. graduate students and one new Ph.D. student to the Department this semester.

Shannon Knapp joined the Department of Statistics this semester as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She received her Ph.D. in Statistics from Purdue in December 2007. Her research interests include statistical issues in wildlife biology and population genetics. She is teaching STAT 350 "Introduction to Statistics" and STAT 511 "Statistical Methods" this semester.
