- Descriptive Statistics: frequency distributions; measures of center; measures of dispersion
- Foundations of Inference:random sampling; probability; binomial distributions; normal distribution; sample distributions
- Introduction to Estimation: standard error; confidence interval for single mean and for difference between means
- Introduction to Hypothesis Testing: P-value and statistical significance; power; two-sample t-test, Mann-Whitney test
- Experimental Design: control; randomization; blocking
- Analysis of Paired Data: t-test and confidence interval; sign test
- Analysis of Categorical Data: confidence interval for a proportion; chi-square goodness-of-fit test; contingency tables.
- One-way Analysis of Variance (with a global F test)
- Regression and Correlation: simple linear regression; standard error of regression slope; interpreting correlation
