Short course on Wed., Oct. 22 (too be coordinated by Doug) Workshop on Thursday and Friday (Oct. 23-24) Poster session Thursday 5-8pm.
Topics
Six 2-hour sessions; 3 on each of Thursday and Friday with Friday pm having only one session. Some focus areas were suggested at the coference calls:
- Monitoring in ecology (Intensive site focus, eg NEON LTER, etc)
- Monitoring in air
- Monitoring in water (both quantity and quality)
- Monitoring for climate change and its impact
Notes
In addition, we could have one or two methodological sessions that cover the development of statical methods for the environmental monitoring data (such as high frequency monitoring data, methods for massive space-time data, etc). That will make 6 sessions.
