Welcome

I am a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Purdue University. I grew up in Minnesota, where I attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. I recieved my B.S. from St. Olaf in Mathematics (with a concentration in Statistics) in May 2006.
My focus at Purdue has been on teaching, but I have participated in statistical consulting as well.
A little more about Doug
Right after graduating from St. Olaf, I married my wife Liz and we moved down here to Indiana. We have two cats that are big enough babies right now that, in my opinion, we don't need kids. :)
I enjoy playing video games and toying around on computers. I prefer mostly strategy and role-playing games, though my tastes generally run pretty broad.
