Initiated in 2007, the Department of Statistics Outstanding Alumni award and the Actuarial Science Outstanding Alumni award recognizes an alumnus's contributions and leadership within their profession. The Distinguished Alumni Award page lists those Statistics graduates who have received the Purdue College of Science Distinguished Alumni Award each year. This award was established in 1990 to recognize outstanding achievement in professional and related fields of endeavor.
