Gayla Olbricht Awarded WISP Travel Grant
Congratulations to Gayla Olbricht, Statistics Ph.D. student, on receiving a $500 travel grant awarded by the
Women in
Science Programs (WISP) during the Spring 2007 semester. The travel grant funded her trip to attend the 2007 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Salt Lake City, Utah where she presented at an invited session on the Future of Pro Bono Statistics on July 31, 2007.
Her talk was titled "A Role for Students in Pro Bono Statistics."
