The
College of Science and
the
Department of Statistics hosted an alumni
reception on August 9, 2005, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, aboard the riverboat Minneapolis Queen. The weather was perfect
and the fellowship was outstanding! There were approximately 40 alumni
representing all seven College of Science departments.
George McCabe,
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and
Mary Ellen Bock, Department of Statistics
Head, gave the alumni group updates on the activities, programs and people
within the College.
Many of the attendees were also attending the
2005 Joint Statistical Meetings held
at the Convention Center in Minneapolis.
