2006 Alumni Reception During Joint Statistical Meetings

The
College of Science and
the
Department of Statistics hosted an alumni
reception on August 6, 2006, in Seattle, Washington, during the
2006 Joint Statistical Meetings being held at the Washington State Convention Center. There were approximately 40 alumni
representing most of the seven College of Science departments.
George McCabe,
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and
Mary Ellen Bock, Department of Statistics
Head, gave the alumni group updates on the activities, programs and people
within the College. The College and the Department look forward to gathering again at the
2007 Joint Statistical Meetings in Salt Lake City.
