In celebration of 20+ years of excellence training future actuaries,
the
Purdue Actuarial Sciences Program and the
Purdue Actuary Club hosted a
reunion for all of its members and alumni. The event was held on September 9, 2005 in the Purdue
Memorial South Ballroom with a reception at 6pm and dinner at 7pm. Guest speakers at the event
were Carl Cowen, Dean, School of Science, Indiana University - Purdue University, Indianapolis,
and Dr. Keith E. Schwingendorf, Professor of Mathematics and Chair Mathematics, Statistics and Physics Department, Purdue University, North Central.
The Director of the Purdue Actuarial Sciences program is Department of Mathematics Professor
Richard Penney. Department of Statistics Assistant Professor
Seongjoo Song serves as the Assistant Director of the program.
