Purdue Statistics Alumna Featured in Amstat News

Mikaela Meyer, recent Purdue Statistics alumna and Truman Scholar, was featured last month in Amstat News. Meyer graduated from Purdue in 2018 with a B.S. in applied statistics and mathematical statistics, and a minor in political science. She made history by becoming the university's first recipient of the Truman Scholarship, the United States' premier graduate fellowship for students pursuing careers as public service leaders.

Meyer is currently pursuing a joint Ph.D. in statistics and public policy at Carnegie Mellon University.
