Qi helps put Purdue's newest supercomputer to use

Statistics and Computer Science Assistant Professor Alan Qi is taking advantage of Purdue's newest supercomputer. The new supercomputer, named "Carter," is the fastest campus supercomputer in the nation. Alan and his team are using the supercomputer to implement novel statistical models for the analysis of high-dimensional flow cytometry data with an end goal of identifying cancer stem cells.
