William Stout Named 2009 College of Science Distinguished Alumnus

William Stout William Stout
William Stout (M.S. Statistics 1964, Ph.D. Probability 1967) was honored as one of 12 College of Science Distinguished Alumni on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the College of Science Distinguished Alumni awards program. The awards were established in 1990 to recognize outstanding achievement by Science alumni in professional and related fields of endeavor.

Stout gave a talk titled "Psychometrics: From Practice to Theory and Back Again; 20 Years of Multidimensional IRT, DIF/Test Equity, and Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment" on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 10:30am in HAAS 111. A coffee hour with Stout was held from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in HAAS 111.
