Yu's Certificate in Applied Statistics complemented his Ph.D. work in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education at Purdue University. Course work for the certificate enabled Yu to improve the experimental design and data analysis for his Ph.D. thesis. A paper based on his Ph.D. thesis was published in October 2005 in a peer reviewed journal in his field. Yu was awarded his Ph.D. degree in December 2005. He will begin working towards his M.S. in Statistics in January 2006.

Congratulations to all of our graduates! We wish you the best and look forward to hearing from you!
