Presentations

In addition to the presentations listed below, StatCom members have also given talks at several other colleges and universities to promote the development of similar programs at other institutions. Most of those presentations were given during the 2006-2007 academic year and were made possible by a Member Initiatives Grant from the American Statistical Association.

StatCom members have also been very active in the Joint Statistical Meetings in the past by holding two open meetings. One of these meetings gives an introduction to StatCom for anyone new to the idea of student-led pro bono statistics and the other is a StatCom Network business meeting for interaction between StatCom members at all institutions. In the future, it is planned to hold these meetings annually at the Joint Statistical Meetings.
